13th of June 2017 | St.Pauls Chapel | Restaurant in Kolymbia
Rachel & Tracey
Our first holiday together had been to the beautiful island of Rhodes, so it already held sentimental value to us.
We visited again a couple of years later and were spending a day on the beach at St Paul’s when we saw a couple marry at the Chapel. We decided there and then that ‘when’ we got married that is where it had to be!
Fast forward eight years (and a few more trips to Rhodes!) and we found ourselves standing in front of the Chapel saying ‘I do’ on the 13th June 2017.
The day itself was even better than we could ever have imagined. From the very first contact Margarita had everything under control. She was so good at interpreting and understanding what we asked for, throwing back some brilliant ideas of her own.
On the day, we travelled by car and coach to Lindos from Kolymbia (which is where we were staying). The seating at the Chapel, with colour co-ordinated sashes and solo guitarist, really added to the overall experience of the day. Being serenaded down the aisle to my chosen song and looking out to sea whilst saying our vows were truly magical moments.
Following the service and photographs we then boarded a boat to take us back to Kolymbia. This took around 45 minutes and gave us ample time to circulate our guests and have a chat with each of them before going onto the Reception.
Once we arrived at the harbour in Kolymbia we had a gentle walk to the Limanaki Taverna where our Reception was being held. Everything here was also absolutely perfect. The decorations were stunning, the food excellent with plenty to go around, and the staff were both attentive and entertaining.
All in all the day went without a hitch and the success of it all was down to Margarita and her planning, we would never have been able to achieve it without her. Our guests had an amazing day too, some even saying that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The photographs by Savvas Argyrou Photography are stunning and have caught the feelings of the day to perfection. Savvas was very easy to get along with, and was very happy to catch the fun side of the day as well as the traditional shots.
